Kundalini Yoga Training Programs

The Four Season Yoga Cleanse was designed by Sat Dharam Kaur ND as a way to carry out an annual detoxification regime that is attuned to the seasons. It follows the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine, identifying 2 organs that can be cleansed and rejuvenated seasonally. The cleanse combines breathing exercises, Kundalini Yoga and meditation with a special diet, herbal teas and supplements to support the organs involved.

Participate to receive certification in the KRI Kundalini Yoga Level 1 International Teacher Training Program, as originally taught by Yogi Bhajan, or to immerse yourself in the science of Kundalini Yoga. Learn meditation skills and Kundalini Yoga exercises to take you to the next level of awareness, clarity and high performance in your life. This course provides the foundation to be able to teach specialized courses.

Develop the inner growth and personal discipline of a truly excellent teacher. Open to KRI Level 1 Certified Instructors, this 300-hour certification program consists of five, 62-hour modules. Each module consists of 6 days in class (50 hours) and 90 days of home study (12 hours). During the home study period you will be responsible for a monthly check-in with your small group where the DVDs and homework are discussed, and for a take-home exam.

Graduates of Level 2 earn the title of KRI Certified Practitioner of Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan® and combined with Level 1 certification, fulfill the Yoga Alliance RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher) 500-hour requirement. Building on the foundation of Level 1, Level 2 Teacher Training is about personal transformation and deepening the core capacities, character and consciousness of a Kundalini Yoga teacher.

The 21 Stages of Meditation will give you the tools and the experience to deepen your meditation and come to a profound understanding of your Self. Students and Teachers from all contemplative traditions are invited to participate.

During these 6 days we will practice 25 different meditations, varying from 31 minutes to 2 1/2 hours in length. Each of the meditations activates and reveals a particular layer of the psyche and way of reacting to the world. The 6 days of practice take us through 3 distinct inner journeys. As we peel away layer after layer, we are left with our essential nature. Each meditation will be accompanied by discussion, self-reflection and journalling.

This course is designed for individuals seeking to develop healthy habits and overcome addictive behaviour, for health professionals who work with addiction and for certified yoga teachers who would like to teach a yoga-based addiction recovery program. The course outlines a four or five weekend or 16 week recovery program which includes Kundalini Yoga, breathing techniques, meditation, relaxation, self-reflection, lifestyle and dietary guidelines, stress management, hydrotherapy, naturopathic detoxification and nutritional and herbal supplementation for neurotransmitter and glandular balance.

Learn how to teach and facilitate a yoga series based on Sat Dharam Kaur ND's Healthy Breast Program as described in her book "The Complete Natural Medicine Guide to Breast Cancer". This training was created as a tool to help women both prevent and recover from breast cancer using Kundalini Yoga, diet and detoxification, specific supplements, psychological and spiritual exercises and environmental activism. On completion of the course you will have the tools necessary to teach a twelve week yoga series focusing on breast health for women.
